Cookie Policy

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small files that are installed on the USER’s device when visiting a website for the purpose of storing data that may be updated and retrieved by the entity responsible for their installation. If the USER does not register or provide personal information on the website, the server will be aware that someone with that cookie has returned to the website, but it will be impossible to associate the browsing activity with a specific USER.

  1. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?

Depending on their expiration, cookies can be classified as session cookies or persistent cookies. Session cookies expire when the user closes the browser, whereas persistent cookies remain stored on the device for a longer period of time, during which the data may be accessed and processed.

Cookies may also be classified according to the entity that manages the device or domain from which they are sent and that processes the data obtained. In this case, they are classified as:

  • First-party cookies: those sent to the User’s device from a device or domain managed by the Website Owner and from which the service requested by the User is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: those sent to the User’s device from a device or domain that is not managed by the Website Owner, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

Cookies may also be classified according to their purpose, as follows:

  • Technical cookies: allow the User to browse through a website, platform, or application and to use the different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, or completing a purchase process.
  • Personalization cookies: allow the User to access the service with certain predefined general characteristics based on criteria such as language or browser type.
  • Analytical cookies: allow the entity responsible for them to monitor and analyze the behavior of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms and to create browsing profiles of users in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of how users use the service.
  • Advertising cookies: allow for the most effective management of advertising spaces that, where applicable, the publisher has included on a website, application, or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency with which ads are displayed.
  1. HOW TO DISABLE OR DELETE COOKIES

The User may configure their browser to prevent cookies from being installed or to receive an on-screen warning each time a cookie is about to be installed, allowing them to decide whether or not to accept it. Likewise, the User may later choose to delete the cookies that have been installed by changing the browser settings or by deleting them manually through the browser.

Please note that deleting cookies may result in a reduction in the quality or functionality of the website. To perform these actions, you must follow the instructions provided by the browser you use:
